Kayaking in Bohol - Day 5 & 6

Day 5

Same as day 2, paddle to Virgin Islands and back.

Day 6

Today is the start of our epic 2-day journey, anti clockwise around Panglao Island and ending at Punta Cruz on Bohol Island, same destination as the previous journey but a much longer route. However today is a short day, 10km before lunch and just 6km after. By now the group was consistently travelling at least 3km/hr, so do your math, 3hrs in the morning and 2hrs afternoon.

Kayaking in Bohol - Day 3 & 4

Day 3

Today's kayaking distance was a good 28km. From Duljo Point we turned anti-clockwise around Panglao Island, crossed the channel to Bohol island and ended at Punta Cruz, southwestern part of Bohol. That's not the end, there's another 4km of river kayaking to watch fireflies at night.

The coast was mainly cliffs, you can see the obvious effects of wave erosion. This could be a geography trip!

Kayaking in Bohol - Day 1 & 2

Day 1

Bohol is somewhat in the middle of the Philippines, just across the sea from Cebu, which is the more famous location. Which also means Bohol is more pristine and less crowded than Cebu.
