Diving in Manado - Day 4 & 5. End

Today was a free n easy, non diving day. After considering options to go village visiting and white water rafting, we decided to go for the cheapest options: rent a kayak and stay in the resort. Even lunch was just to consume the bread and biscuits that we bought on the first night at the mini-mart.

After breakfast we rented a doubles and off we paddled.

There was a stretch of mangroves by the coast. Tide was high so we could paddle in.

Pencil roots underwater

Don't take clear blue skies for granted, sometimes it can get hazy back home. Annually.

Saw a floating bottle on the water (rubbish), couldn't help not to pick it up.

After an hour of paddling we stayed on the beach and just did nothing.

Saw many cute little crabs on the beach. Crabby friends!

Some fun in the pool.

Back to Matana Spa....the place makes you feel like you have stepped into a secret garden of immortalised realm. The foot massage and facial were so-so, again.

Diving in Manado has definitely been an awesome experience; visibility was always more than 20m, so much marine biodiversity, so many turtles, etc. The team at Tasik Divers was professional and always friendly, special thanks to Monica and her crew. Our DM Drekker took good care of us and always pointed out marine animals from big to tiny. The GM of Tasik Ria resort Daniel, was always warm and friendly, always hanging out during mealtimes to have a conversation with every guest.

Back to hazy Singapore....sigh.
